A Typical escrow in Sonoma County is 30 days. However, the length of the process can vary depending on many factors. If you’re an all cash Buyer 10 days is typical. I’ve had a few go as fast as 7 days from offer to recording. If a lender is involved escrow is generally 30 days. Some lenders can go as fast as 14-21 days but we’ve had some take as long as 120 days. How long escrow will be is part of negotiating. Some Sellers might be ready and want to go fast while others might need more time and prefer 45-60 days, or more. Talk with your agent and let them know your preferences and what type of loan you’ll be using.
